'My name's Alison Anderson. I've had two big strokes and I’ve had about 4 TIAs and I’m on dialysis and one heart attack as well.

'I've actually got aphasic and that was in 2 05 but I'm still taking strokes.

'I used to work. I used to be at Littlewoods for 16 years but I've been stopped work about 16 years because of dialysis and things like that.

'How it affected me .. my words turns up. I have .. I can't good at writing. I get mixed up. I also have numbers. If I .. I just can't numbers at all.

'Sometimes when I talk then I forget. I feel that even to do an email - I find it's difficult to .. Also on phones and things like that I find it really difficult, and my husband has to do everything.  My numbers (when you go into shops) .. I have really difficult with that. Even on phones and texts, or anything like that..

'When we started it was a big thing. I had a .. Partick, we went to a big .. place with the group .. Glasgow. And it was a big thing for us to have menus with pictures, cause we felt that when you can't speak or anything (or understanding) you need to take time. And it would help to do sentence and to get wee pictures. That was for in the hospitals .. from the Glasgow .. in the wards.'
